Kaley Cuoco announces The Flight Attendant has been cancelled after two seasons. Kaley Cuoco has reluctantly announced her Emmy-nominated hit series has been cancelled after just two seasons. Kaley Cuoco’s The Flight Attendant will not be returning for Season 3.

The popular dark dramedy series based on the Chris Bohjalian novel of the same name, has been cancelled by Max after two seasons, reports Decider. “What started out as an attention-grabbing book cover quickly evolved into an extraordinary flight of a lifetime,” said Cuoco in a statement Friday.

“I always envisioned TFA as a limited series and thanks to an incredible creative team, we were able to deliver two thrilling seasons. Personally, playing Cassie has been a dream come true and I am so grateful for everyone who played a part in bringing this extremely original series to life.”Series creator Steve Yockey added,

“The Flight Attendant was a true passion project and the reception from viewers and critics alike was pretty stunning. Our unorthodox spectacle of a show really found people. As we all move on to new projects, those two seasons of television and the incredible team of professionals behind them will always stay at the top of my list.”

The Flight Attendant, which debuted in November 2020 and airs locally on BINGE, centred on an alcoholic stewardess named Cassie Bowden (Cuoco) whose life changes after she finds a dead man in her hotel room with no recollection of what happened.

Season 1 was based on Bohjalian’s book and could have possibly only been a limited series if it weren’t for its massive success. Season 2, which debuted in April 2022, wasn’t based on a book and saw Cassie working with the CIA on a different case.
