Despite the censors in place to prevent explicit content, Miley Cyrus found a way to push the boundaries during her live performance at the MTV VMAs. In a brief moment while changing backstage, she accidentally exposed her bare breast on national television, much to the shock of viewers. 

To add to the drama, she also engaged in a heated argument with fellow singer Nicki Minaj on live TV. Despite the best efforts of the censorship team, Miley managed to slip past the rules and make headlines for her controversial behavior yet again.

The taste of success was quite satisfying for the singer who marked the occasion by lighting a joint backstage following her drug-themed performance.
